About Me

I chose HealthPoint because it played a major role in shaping my path into dentistry. I started working there in 2018 as a medical and dental interpreter after completing my undergraduate degree. Working across multiple locations allowed me to support patient–provider communication and gain firsthand exposure to community-based care. My close work with dental providers, particularly at the Midway location, inspired me to pursue dentistry. With Healthpoint providers' support, I was accepted to multiple dental schools and ultimately earned my DDS from the University of Washington. Returning to HealthPoint aligns perfectly with my commitment to serving underserved communities. 'As an immigrant myself, I have faced many of the social, cultural, and systemic challenges that underserved populations experience when navigating health care. These experiences have shaped my commitment to providing culturally sensitive, patient-centered care. I am particularly passionate about improving oral health within underserved communities, where dental care is often deprioritized due to financial, linguistic, and systemic barriers. My goal is to first educate patients on the importance of oral health as an integral part of overall health, and then guide them through accessible, appropriate treatment options. Through education, building trust, and advocacy, I aim to help patients receive the high-quality care they deserve.

Outside of the clinic, family is very important to me, and I make it a priority to spend as much time as possible with my family and close friends. I’m also very hands-on and enjoy restoring vintage watches and bringing them back to life.
