About Me

I chose HealthPoint because I was able to receive healthcare at community clinics like this one until I became a citizen. As a healthcare professional, I wanted to give back to my Spanish-speaking community and serve in the same type of clinic setting that I went to growing up. My professional areas of interest include refugee health, Latino health, gender affirming care, public health, treatment for substance use disorder, medical education, advocacy/policy, reproductive procedures, and derm procedures.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking with my dog, playing with my cat, video games, board games, checking out new restaurants and bars, biking, watching movies/TV, listening to podcasts, and traveling.
