Prepare For Your Visit

Telehealth

HealthPoint provides MyChart Video Visits as an option for a clinical visit with your provider. Video Visits are telehealth appointments done through MyChart your personalized and secure web portal to your medical record.

You can have a face-to-face conversation with your provider using the camera and microphone on your smartphone, tablet, or computer.

Video Visit Access in MyChart

  1. Sign in with your MyChart username and password.
  2. If you forgot this information, click or tap "Forgot Username?" or "Forgot Password?"
  3. If you do not have a MyChart account, sign up here.
  4. Once you are in the app, click or tap your appointment.
  5. You will see a page that says Video Visit with a picture of a video camera next to it.

Check In

  1. Tap eCheck-In.
  2. Complete all steps as a part of your visit.
  3. Once you are checked in, you will return to the Video Visit appointment page.

Test Hardware

  1. Click "Test hardware" to check that your camera and microphone are working.
  2. You may be asked to allow access to your computer's camera and microphone.

IMPORTANT: When finished testing, close the Epic Telehealth tab, return to eCheck-in, and click Next to continue with the check-in process.

Starting Your Video Visit

  1. On your appointment page, the video camera icon will turn green when the visit is ready to start.
  2. Click on the green camera icon to start the visit.
  3. Click Begin Visit.

Launching Video Visit

  1. The video call will open in your device's web browser.
  2. You may be asked to allow access to your device's camera and microphone.
  3. Click Join Call when prompted.
