About Me
I chose HealthPoint at the Family First Community Center because I am excited about the idea of a clinic within a community center, and I am enthusiastic about working for an organization that is focused on exceptional primary care. My professional areas of interest include preventive care for children and treatment of chronic medical, behavioral, emotional and developmental health problems. I have expertise in complex medical and mental health care of children and adolescents. Special areas of interest include autism, ADHD, depression/anxiety, gender, immigrant health, and helping families raise resilient children.
I have a long history of providing health care for children in the Seattle area. I began my career at HealthPoint in Redmond, where I took care of children and families for 20 years. I then spent 8 years as a clinical professor of pediatrics at the University of Washington where I taught medical students from the UW and pediatrics residents from Seattle Childrens, as well as providing care for patients in the south Seattle area.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, hiking, bicycling, and going to music events.
